Clico — Terms of Use
Last Updated: 19/06/2026
1. Acceptance of these Terms
These Terms of Use ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you ("you", "User") and Clico.ai, a company registered in Brazil ("Clico", "we", "us"), governing your access to and use of the Clico platform, including our website at clico.ai, our browser extension, our web application, our mobile applications, our WordPress widget, our APIs, and any related services (together, the "Service"). By creating an account, installing the extension, or otherwise accessing or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Data Protection & Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of a company or other organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization, and "you" refers to that organization.
2. Definitions
- "Account" — the registered profile through which you access the Service.
- "Content" — data, reports, analyses, estimates, metrics, and other materials made available through the Service.
- "Data Providers" — third-party data sources and licensors from which Clico obtains or supplements data (for example, search and traffic data providers and AI service providers).
- "Connected Property" — any website, content management system (CMS), social channel, advertising account, or other digital property that you connect to, or authorize the Service to access or modify.
- "Credits" / "Tokens" — the unit of consumption used to access certain features, as described in your plan.
- "Subscription" — a paid plan giving you access to specified features and a periodic allowance of Credits.
3. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and capable of forming a binding contract to use the Service. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete registration information and to keep it updated. You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your Account. Notify us immediately at info@clico.ai of any unauthorized use.
4. The Service
Clico provides accessible digital-marketing intelligence, including competitor analysis, audience analysis, and analysis of your own website and channels, delivered through a browser extension, web and mobile applications, and related tools. The Service also offers exportable reports (including white-label reports on eligible plans) and, where enabled, recommendations and tools to help you implement changes to your Connected Properties. We may add, modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. Some features are available only on certain plans or as part of our roadmap and may change.
5. Nature and source of the data — publicly available and licensed data
This section is important. Please read it carefully.
5.1 Public and licensed sources. The market, traffic, keyword, ranking, backlink, performance, and similar intelligence made available through the Service is derived from publicly available information and from data licensed from third-party Data Providers. Clico does not access, scrape, or rely on private, confidential, password-protected, or otherwise non-public information belonging to the websites, brands, or channels analyzed.
5.2 Estimates and approximations. Much of the Content consists of estimates, approximations, and modelled metrics rather than exact figures. Such data is provided for informational and analytical purposes only. Different tools (including competing platforms) may report different figures for the same target because methodologies and data sources differ.
5.3 No guarantee of accuracy or completeness. While we work to provide useful and reliable intelligence, we do not warrant that any Content is accurate, complete, current, or fit for any particular purpose. You should independently verify any data before relying on it for business, financial, legal, or other decisions.
5.4 Lawful use of data. You agree to use the Content only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws, including data-protection and anti-competition laws, and not in any manner that infringes the rights of third parties.
6. Subscriptions, Credits, billing, and refunds
6.1 Plans and Credits. Access to certain features consumes Credits/Tokens according to your plan. Credit allowances, plan inclusions, and pricing are described at the point of purchase and may be updated prospectively.
6.2 Credit expiry and top-ups. Unless stated otherwise at purchase, periodic Credit allowances reset at the start of each billing cycle and do not roll over. Additional Credits ("top-ups") may be purchased and are governed by these Terms.
6.3 Billing. Subscriptions renew automatically for successive periods unless cancelled before renewal. You authorize us (and our payment processors) to charge your payment method for all applicable fees and taxes. Prices are stated in BRL (R$) and USD (US$) and may exclude taxes.
6.4 Cancellation and refunds. You may cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period. Except where required by applicable consumer-protection law (including the Brazilian Código de Defesa do Consumidor, where applicable), fees and Credit purchases are non-refundable.
6.5 Changes to pricing. We may change pricing, plan inclusions, and Credit costs. Changes apply from your next billing cycle, and we will give reasonable notice where required.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- resell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute the Service or Content except as expressly permitted (for example, white-label reports on eligible plans);
- copy, scrape, harvest, or systematically extract data from the Service itself, or attempt to rebuild a competing dataset or product from it;
- exceed, circumvent, or interfere with rate limits, Credit limits, or technical or security measures;
- reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive source code, except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by law;
- use the Service to violate any law, infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights, or for any deceptive, harmful, or abusive purpose;
- share your Account or seats beyond the limits of your plan; or
- introduce malware or otherwise disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
We may suspend or terminate access for breach of this section.
8. Integrations and changes to your Connected Properties — your responsibility
This section is important. Please read it carefully.
8.1 You authorize changes. Where you connect a website, CMS (such as WordPress, Shopify, Wix, or Squarespace), social channel, advertising account, or other Connected Property, you authorize the Service to access, and — where you enable such features — to apply changes to that property at your direction.
8.2 You are solely responsible. You acknowledge and agree that you are solely and fully responsible for: (a) any changes you make, or that you instruct or authorize the Service to make, to your Connected Properties; (b) reviewing, approving, and monitoring those changes; and (c) maintaining your own backups and the ability to roll back changes.
8.3 No liability for resulting issues. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Clico shall not be responsible or liable for any loss, damage, downtime, errors, malfunction, loss of data, loss of rankings or traffic, reduced visibility, conversion or revenue loss, or any other adverse effect arising out of or relating to: (i) changes made to, or settings altered on, your Connected Properties (whether by you, by the Service at your direction, or by a third party); (ii) incompatibilities between your Connected Properties and the Service; or (iii) any subsequent change you or others make to those properties.
8.4 Third-party platform changes. Connected Properties and Data Providers depend on third-party platforms (for example, search engines, CMS providers, advertising platforms, and analytics providers). Those third parties may change their algorithms, APIs, policies, layouts, or availability at any time. Clico is not responsible for any disruption, data gaps, inaccuracies, feature loss, or other impact on the Service or on your results caused by such third-party changes, nor for any changes you make to your Connected Properties or marketing channels that subsequently cause issues with, or affect data shown in, the Service.
8.5 Indemnification for use of changes. You agree to indemnify and hold Clico harmless from any claim, loss, or expense arising out of changes applied to your Connected Properties through your use of the Service. (See also Section 12.)
9. White-label reports and your content
On eligible plans you may generate reports branded with your own logo, name, and identity ("White-Label Reports"). You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to any branding, logos, and materials you upload, and for the accuracy and lawful use of reports you share with your clients. You grant Clico a limited licence to process your uploaded materials solely to provide the Service to you.
10. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, trademarks, and all Content other than data sourced from public or licensed sources and your own materials, is owned by Clico or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for its intended purpose, subject to these Terms. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
11. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service and all Content are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any data, estimate, or recommendation will produce any particular result. Any reliance you place on the Content is at your own risk.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- Clico, its directors, employees, and suppliers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, rankings, or business opportunities, arising out of or relating to the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
- Clico's total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the total fees you paid to Clico in the [TWELVE (12)] months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) [BRL 100,00].
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including certain rights under the Brazilian Código de Defesa do Consumidor.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Clico and its affiliates from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the Service or Content; (b) changes to your Connected Properties or channels as described in Section 8; (c) your White-Label Reports and any materials you upload; or (d) your breach of these Terms or of any law or third-party right.
14. Term and termination
These Terms apply while you use the Service. You may stop using the Service and close your Account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, fail to pay, or where required by law. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; Sections that by their nature should survive (including 5, 8, 11, 12, 13, 15, and 16) will survive.
15. Changes to the Service and to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide reasonable notice (for example, by email or in-product notice). Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service.
16. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The parties elect the courts of Sao Paulo, Brazil, as the competent forum to resolve any dispute, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rights that allow consumers to bring claims in their own domicile.
17. Data protection
Our collection and processing of personal data is described in the Clico Data Protection & Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. We are committed to complying with all applicable data-protection laws, including the LGPD.
